Bogus update notifications from the PIC Software Store

I recently received two emails from the PalmInfocenter software store notifying me of updates to software I own. One of them was for TrafficStat. I was happy to hear this because TrafficStat is not compatible with my Treo 680 (as mentioned on the Normsoft web site).

Imagine my surprise when I surfed to the store and found the same version of the software listed as the one I already have. In fact, the files inside the ZIP download are dated from 2004.

Worse still, the listing for TrafficStat in your store clearly indicates compatibility with the 680, something that I know to be false and confirmed by the authors.

What gives, PIC?

I'm not sure why the update notification email was triggered, but I let the store folks know. We will also update the compatibility list, so thanks for letting us know about that issue.
