Man my site still isn't on it. I need a drink.
I like the comparison between the 770 and the Palm. I don't care what people say this device is a replacement for a pda. Who needs a palm anymore?

Working on the issue of reading texts on the 770 has led me to ponder various cross-platform e-book readers.
Unfortunately, one of the more promising candidates, OpenBerg, is not going to make it onto the 770, IMO. Cross-Platform E-Reading, at Teleread:

Boy, you can say that again.
I don't know the answer to your question, but hopefully somebody who does will chime in.

With MS Reader, people can use ReaderWorks to easily create free ebooks to give away like mad. (Of course, the people who actually *do* this mostly screw up all the formatting. &^%$#@) When I first read the TOS for the original Peanut Press creator, they limited it to like 1,000 (if even that; maybe 500!) free ebooks, then you had to pony up money on a sliding scale. Stupid stupid stupid.

ARCchart - Nokia about to dump Symbian OS?

I've been saying that since Nokia unveiled the 770 and Maemo that they would transition *everything* to Linux.
