choose Bluetooth channel manually in program

Dear palm developers,

I understand my question is not common, but mabe some of You came across something like this.

as You might know, BT uses 79 - channel frequency hopping. My task is to turn off the hopping and be able to manually choose required channel (0-78) for specialized device test purpose.

My software sends the corresponding command to a device, device changes it's bt channel, and then software has to switch palm's bt module to same channel - to keep the bt connection.

If You know some tips how to do this please help.
