Post Restoring Info
Just a quick question regarding the whole 'cloud' storage issue -
supposing I have a palm pre with all my info on it etc and that dies.

Can I get that info from the cloud onto a new pre easily?

Or

If I don't have/want a new pre, can I get at the info in another manner?

Just wondering how various scenarios would pan out...

Yes, if your Pre dies and you get a new one it will download all of the old one's info from "the Cloud." Your Pre backs itself up to Palm's servers every day and you can also sync with other services like Google so in theory your information is never lost. In practice, if you have the Classic emulator installed, your old PalmOS data must be backed up the old fashioned way by manually synching to a computer running Palm Desktop or with something like Chapura PocketMirror or Markspace's The Missing Sync.
