Dead charger? Dead battery?
I have a T-665, if any of you can remember that far back... must have been 30 models ago. Anyway, it recently began refusing to charge. I would hook up the charging cable but the charge LED wouldn't come on, the battery icon wouldn't get the little lightning bolt on it, and most importantly, the battery wouldn't charge at all. To make matters worse, I first noticed this when the battery was almost dead, and now it is dead, so I can't actually use the Clie to look stuff up about itself, even if there are any utilities that would help in this case.
My question is:
Does anyone have a suggestion for how I can figure out whether this is a problem with the external charger cable, internal charging mechanism, or the battery itself? I'd like to avoid buying a new charger cable if I don't actually know that that's the problem...

Maybe late reply your question.
1. When you charge the Clie half hour, then try to switch on the Clie
If it can switch on, that mean your charging cable is work, then disconnect the charging cable & the Clie, if it dead at once.
I think the problem on battery or charging circuit on the Clie
Next, how old is your battery on Clie ? If over 2-3 years, it should be the battery aging.
2. When you charge the Clie half hour, if it can't switch on, the problem should be on the charging cable.
