RE: Memory stick
Plumb bob
The problem was that it attempted to translate something already in english into english.
Points from the article that were not clearly translated include:
It has a "memory stick slot" and "jog dial"
No announcement has been made as to availability or price in Germany.
It will include photoediting software.
With all the rumors and this press release...
Isn't this the best solution?
os 4.1
thanks

SONY and marketing.
i mean, lets look at the N700C - japanese. N710C - english, maybe the N770C is the efigs version (english, french, italian, german and spanish) targetting the european market.
maybe 4.1 is their way of building the efigs rom image. Palm, Inc have different rom images to, reflecting language - however, they just didn't change the name of the unit.

OS Upgrade
Even with OS 3.5.2 I managed to buy the ONLY unit in Singapore with a corrupted OS. If Sony are serious about the handheld market they better not ignore everyone that already has a 710c.
It's bad enough that the 610 series has a better screen resolution than the supposed flagship model the 710c...
Sony, I'm waiting...

An attempt at a better translation
An optional camera model for the PDA will be available. So the user can truly enjoy the color capable PDA, Sony will include a small image editing program called PictureGear, a video player gMovie, and the web software AvantGo in the retail version. Sony has not yet released at what price and when the device will be available in Germany.
