RE: Eyemodule
You are correct, the original Eyemodule is mediocre at best. I use mine on job sites. When we are going to run cable or install equipment, I take a few quick shots to show my techs back at the office. I don't care about the quality as long as the image is recognizable. For serious photos I use my Olympus digital camera.
The eyemodule does have some uses, and this is a pretty good deal.

Yah, that is about all I use my (original) PalmPix for... documenting wiring closets. Very low-end camera, but it does the job, is small and quick to use. I too don't care about the quality, as long as it captures what is needed. "A picture is worth a thousand words".
(I wish Kodak would re-do the SW, so that my HandEra can "see" the preview correctly)
Prism in UK
Handspring has the Prism listed as 'Sold Out' on the UK site so prehaps the eyemodule special offer is to help shift the last few Prisms.

Are they the same? Just one is Europe and one is US?
T625 C

Well it's not available on many sites that I could find but last weekend I trawled up & down Tottenham Court road and it's in many of the shops. I also managed to find a price differential of about £30 between them. Best price was £310 which compares pretty well to Amazon's list price of £299 but then you have to add P&P on top
Sony T6/15/25, Mac sync
I.M. Anonymous @ 2/28/2002 8:52:23 AM #
I'm quite keen on the new sony 625 (in europe) but have heard that they cannot sync with macs. This seems crazy considering they are USB and just need the drivers for it to all happen. Can anybody substantiate this.
Sorry about posting off topic but I'm itching to know but there is no relevant article for me to post it to.

Eyemodule
1) the eyemodule is a curiosity at best - it's cool, but in the end it's a POS camera; it's a product that really useful for a small niche and not the entire market of Visor users.
2) the Prism is a good handheld, but is on it's last legs.
Just wait - you can probably get both for $250 sometime soon.
