Caused the delay for the Treo 800W?

shrike4242 @ 4/1/2008 2:49:33 PM # Q
Hopefully, this is why the Treo 800W keeps sliding back in the release window from 2007 until July 2008.

Maybe they'll have more details about it at CTIA, as that seems like the likely place to release info about it.

Palm is a no-show at CTIA.

Who says the 800w will have 6.1?

Palm has hinted as much, during the last conference call they said the next treo would include Microsoft's latest offerings.

In addition a 750 update may be released as anything that works with the new Microsoft Mobile Device Management 2008 server requires Windows Mobile 6.1.

I was simply making the point that a "new Treo" is not necessarily a Treo 800w.

We're expecting WM6.1 phones within 3 months or less.
