Comments on: Preware 0.9.3 Stuffs Patches In Package
Also making their debut in 0.9.3 are some brand-new feed management features. Hit the Preware app menu in the top-left corner, go to Preferences, and then hit the app menu again for a Feeds option. If you've previously checked out this scene, you'll have noticed a startling similarity to the initial release of Snow Leopard (or Vista, if you prefer), in that nothing worked at all. Now it does! The scene will let you configure exactly which homebrew package feeds Preware will check for updates - handy if you're constantly getting the Spinning Eternal Wheel of Updating problem (SPEWUP) due to a borked repository.

OT: Gmail now supports PalmOS EAS Push
Gmail now supports the full EAS - Exchange Active Sync protocol. so no matter what kind of phone you have (including the PalmOS Centro with Versamail!) you can get free PUSH email/contacts/calendar with Gmail! three caveats -
1. when you set up your EAS account on your Centro, put in a dummy email address - not your Gmail address. use like johnsmith@xyz.com (do not use google.com at this point or it will out in IMAP settings automatically). then select that it's an EAS account, then after all is complete, go back in and change your email back to your Gmail address. (use WinMob EAS settings at below link)
2. there is a bug that Google is aware of and working to fix that ATTACHMENTS will not come through via EAS. they say they are working on a fix.
3. you can only have one EAS account at a time on most smartphones. (don't get me started on Pre's faux-EAS with locked silo proprietary crap).
so if you want the holy grail of true EAS push and can wait for the attachment fix, this might excite you.
