Using Palms to Control the Beer Supply for the Olympics
According to ZDnn Australia, Palm Vxs are taking an important part in making sure that there is a steady supply of beer for the Sydney Olympics. "In order to keep the amber fluid flowing, CUB has equipped its 22 logistics venue managers with Palm Vxs, outfitted with stock management software designed specifically for CUB's Olympic effort by local company Sync International." -Alex Bons

LIVE Palm Training in Tampa
PalmPlanning has begun their public Palm seminars with a kickoff date in Tampa, Thursday, October 12. Tickets are available from PalmPlanning's Web site and cost $99 or $129 if you buy them in advance. You'll fork over $179 if you wait until the day of the training. "Based on the success of this training we'll develop future training dates in other cities across the country," said Larry Becker, president and head trainer for PalmPlanning. -J Becker

Are they saying people need to be trained how to use a Palm? What a joke! And people are gonna spend $100 to get that training?
Someone is laughing all the way to the bank on that one!

I work for a national training company and we offer a fair number of Palm classes. What I think is interesting is we don't offer any PocketPC classes and I think people really need those. However, there just aren't enough people asking for the PocketPC classes for us to make any money at it, probably because there aren't enough PPC owners out there.
