The software included seems sorta sketchy. Its like they just added MJ to some other software and threw it on there.

So what...

I myself am holding off buying a PDA until they come out with a Tiger Woods edition of the M100. My sister is still waiting on the Madonna edition. I find it hard to believe that this form of Marketing actually works. Ah, yea I'm sure this will bring you back to profitiablity, Palm.

Instead of liquidating your inventory and making marginal profits, now you have to pay Michael Jordan millions to use his name. I wish I knew where you found the cash for that, it sure doesn't show in your quarterly earnings.

Actually, Palm Inc. has very little to do with this. The Claudia Schiffer Palm and this one too are the brain child of a separate company, PTN Media. I think Palm Inc. is just selling them a lot of handhelds and letting them do the rest.

People outside of a target market frequently think promotions are dumb. For example, tons of things get marketed to my wife that I think are stupid but she thinks are great. Just another example of one size doesn't fit all.
