New Rhinoskin Cases for Edge and m100
Rhinoskin has announced some new additions to its line of cases. The have new models for the Edge, m100 series, and tri-fold one for all handhelds.
The Handspring Visor Edge Leather FlipCase comes in black or brown and sells for $40. It offers easy stylus access and semi-rigid edges to better protect the handheld.
The Palm m100/m105 Leather FlipCase has been especially designed for this model, even including an opening that mirrors the one on the m100's flip cover that is designed to let the Palm be used as a watch. It comes in black or brown, weighs 2.4 ozs. and costs $40.
Finally, the Tri-Fold Executive Leather Long Case is made of hand-tooled, first quality Italian leather with a heavy-duty brass zipper. It has rigid edges for extra protection and a Triple Velcro attachment system provides for device placement. It is 7.25 by 4.3 x 1.5 inches, which is big enough to fit any handheld and possibly even its modem or Springboard modules. It can even hold a 3 by 5 writing pad and lots of credit cards. It comes in Black or Chocolate, weighs 6.4 oz , and costs $50.

I don't get it...
So here's the question: what's the deal with these cases which take a sleek little device and turn them into a chunky thing which needs to be worn on a belt. What's the point? If I was going to carry it on my belt, I'd get a Clie 710 or a Prism. I actually would like something that offers better protection than the stock screen protector which comes with the m505, but...I don't want to give up on carrying the thing in my shirt pocket. Is there anything out there which provides this?
