Happy Halloween, Palm Style

What does the truly hardcore Palm fan dress as for Halloween? Why, as a Palm handheld, of course! In this case a Visor. Jerrod, who can be seen modeling his creation at left, said, "I chose the Visor because the Springboard slot in the back is where my 'customers' will put their candy."

In honor of Halloween, there are seven new tombstones in the Palm Graveyard. Read how these handhelds met their tragic fates... if you dare!

As a last bit of Halloween goofiness, there's the Nashville PUG's Jack-o-Palm. Or is a Palm-o-lantern?

It is a sort of cool costume - but, hey - what did you use for the stylus and/or where did you keep the stylus?

You can always tell a true geek by his Halloween costume. First star trek, then star wars, then star trek, then star wars again, then as small, portable computers running Palm OS.

I was at a kids Halloween party on Saturday and was happy to see that more kids dressed as fire fighters and policemen than pro wrestlers or pop stars. Nice to see kids finally seeing who the real heros are.

What an idea

I.M. Anonymous @ 10/31/2001 5:49:40 PM #
This is the smartest thing ever invented. What a genius. I think this witty individual is going to walk around on the streets, probably because he told me so. He also probably did not forget the Visor symbol on the top, but if he did I'm sure he really doesn't care that much, and shouldn't because the detail focuses on the screen, not the border. The hatches were replaced, like he said, by a springboard slot in the back to hold his downloaded data (candy).
