Gamepad Available for Sony Clié

Many people who would like to use their Sony Clié for games have complained about the buttons. PDAsia has the clip-on Q-PAD Gamepad available for shipment anywhere in the world. It offers Clié users the typical GameBoy-style button layout and the buttons are programmable. It plugs into the HotSync port and covers up the handheld's buttons. It costs $35.

It works with the Sony S and N series but not the new T series.

PDAsia will ship to anywhere but they don't take credit cards.

Thanks to nXt for the tip. -Ed

"Many people who would like to use their Sony Clie have complained about the buttons."

So that means all the people who have Sony Clies but would not like to use them have no problem with the buttons? Makes sense to me... ;-) LOL

Just teasing. I know this sentence is trying to say "Many people who would like to use their Sony Clie for games" etc.

Peace,

bradleyboy

Oh my gosh! I'm glad you corrected the sentence. I almost bought one as I like to use my Clie but not for games.

PDASIA Does accept credit cards - so they say...

After looking around the site I saw a "Pop-Up" window that states you can purchase from them, however the statement from your bank will state "CCNOW".

This is a message I grabbed. "This purchase is a direct transaction between you and CCNow. Charges will appear on your credit card statement as CCNow."

Ccnow is what Brando uses. I have had no problme with Ccnow but have only had one order through them. Just FYI.

Hmmm. There's a message that shows up during the checkout process that says, "We can't accept credit card payment due to technical problem of our bank." Could the message about CCNow be out of date?

About Credit Card Problem -- Official Answer
I.M. Anonymous @ 12/3/2001 10:25:15 PM #
Dear all,

First of all, thanks Ed for introducing our website, PDAsia.com and our product, Q-PAD for CLIE.

I'm Tommy Fung, Product Specialist of PDAsia Limited. I think I'm the right person to answer the question about credit card problem. We've faced some problem to our previous payment gateway, and CCNow is a substitute of it. For people who want to use credit crad, you can use CCNow payment method now by clicking http://www.pdasia.com/en/cart/ccnow.shtml , or if you want another Credit Card payment method, I strongly suggest you to wait until this Saturday (December, 8th 2001 10:30am GMT+8), as we will have a facelift of our website, and a new online shop with new payment gateway will be launched too! To be frank, it will be better than CCNow.

If you have any problem on credit card payment or any kind, please do not hestiate and contact me.

My e-mail address is: tommyf@pdasia.com
