Free overclocking? Huh?

Well, if you dig around on their website, it says the following:

Note: Overclocking is a method of increasing the speed the processor on the Palm V runs at from 16Mhz to 20Mhz. This is much like the turbo switches used to do on older computers. The DRAM (memory) we use is the same that Palm Computing uses on the Palm Vx units. This DRAM and existing circuitry, including the processor, is capable of running at the higher speed and so we make it available to our customers. The cost of this upgrade is an additional $19.95. Additionally, this overclocking upgrade will only function with Palm OS version 3.3 or higher. Versions 3.1.x and lower will not show the speed increase. Please send your Palm V in with OS version 3.3 or higher when ordering the overclocking upgrade.

Memory upgrades

I would assume this is internal memory right? It could be just a springboard memory upgrade, but then you could get that somewhere else for alot cheaper.

Yes, internal memory. Make your Plat, Neo, Prism, Edge a Pro. Sounds great to me. One thing on the edge, I read somewhere that the 16meg mod for the edge causes the ram to push on the screen leaving a push mark somewhere on it that doesn't go away. Though really, its not a bad trade off.
