Is everyone blind around here

I.M. Anonymous @ 4/5/2002 9:30:21 AM #
Am I the only one who went to Sony's CLIE site yesterday to find that they are taking preorders for the new NR series, IN THE US???

Just checking, since it seems that everyone has had a collective brain fart.

They have been taking pre-orders for over a week, and so is Amazon.com. This was a different news story a week or so ago!

Motient bites...

I.M. Anonymous @ 4/5/2002 10:47:27 AM #
I'm glad RIM is licensing its technology, but I HOPE that means that 3rd parties will be able to write better applications for the Motient MobileModem. Motient's current software for that thing is still full of bugs and memory leaks, not to mention taking up nearly two megs of RAM. I'd love to have Iambic Mail that supports the MobileModem.
Unfortunately, I have a feeling that the license fee will be really high, and shareware and freeware authors won't be able to afford developing for it.

Need hardware
