Jalbrant.com has a couple of replacement skins for the Graffiti area on the Sony NR series. -nXt

Purple Data Cables has released an adapter cable for the Handspring Treo. It can be used to connect with add-on devices such as GPSs, MIDI, etc. It is $50. -PR

The Detroit Palm User Group's meeting will be tonight at 7:00. The agenda includes presentations on ListPro, CopyTalk, and Hacks. Plus tons of giveaways. -Carl Brooks

The Nashville Palm Users Group's next meeting is Saturday, May 11. The special guest speaker is C. E. Steuart Dewar of Pimlico Software, who will be talking about the just-released DateBk5. There will also be a talk on mobile speech recognition, including CopyTalk. -Michael T. Ashby

Red-Mercury has released AcidImage 1.2 beta 3 with several new features to support the NR series. -PR

Time Place 4 from Time Traveler is a world clock that visually displays the Earth with images taken from satellites. It is $15. -PR

Thanks for the link regarding skinning the virtual graffiti area on the new Sony NR70's.

That has to rank up there among some of the best hacks you can do to your Palm.

Can a skin be used in conjunction with a hack like Fitaly/Quicktype/Silkyboard? I currently use a sticker overlay with Quicktype on my clie n610c... I'd love to see if these skins are functional as well as cool.

On the samsung i300 you can use a skin for fitaly, I don´t see whi not in the NR
