Palm has expanded their giveaway of the Shortcuts to Success expansion card to include the m500 and the silver m505. The program seems to be no longer available for the m125, and is not available for the m515. -Terry Salmi

CompUSA is now offering refurbished Visor Edge units on its webstore for $120. -Terry Salmi

Margi Systems is now taking preorders for its version of the Presenter-to-Go presentation tool that connects to the handheld through the SD slot. It will be available June 19 for $200. -Ed

Red Mercury has released new versions of AcidSolitaire and AcidFreecell with full screen, 16-bit color support for Sony's NR-series. They cost $12 each but upgrades are free to registered users. -PR

envi.con has lowered the price for SyncWizard to $30. The app allows users to access files in RAM and the contents of an SD or MMC card on the Windows Desktop like they were a folder or a drive. -PR

The next meeting of the Detroit Palm User Group is tomorrow, June 13 at 7:00 pm. Their guest speaker is Rick Broida, founder of Handheld Computing Magazine and author of two Palm-related books: How to Do Everything with Your Palm Handheld and How to Do Everything with Your Visor. -Carl Brooks

Note that the $120 Visor Edge available on the CompUSA website is a refurbished unit.

As of 9:53 Pacific Time Thursday, the price was $149.00
With new ones selling for $169.00 at handspring.com (with a warranty), this is HARDLY a deal.

And I have received an email from the Margi Systems CEO (you can send him email from their support site) that states they are looking into a Memory Stick based Presenter to go product.

I would say that the Margi support is superb!!! Bought a CF type and they answer my inquiries and questions without hesitations. Quite helpful. Two thumbs up!!!
