Palm Inc. has leaked that it plans to announce tomorrow that it has picked Todd Bradley to be Chief Executive Officer of the company's hardware unit. He's already been in charge of the group for a year but without the formal title. Eric Benhamou will remain CEO of Palm itself. -Marcus Bankuti

TapSpring has instructions for converting its omniPPK to let users connect a Palm V folding keyboard to a Sony T or NR series handheld. -Harry Chou

Amazon has recently reduced its price for the Palm m515 to $350 and the m130 to $250. -Harain

MobileWizardry has put together Wimbledon PDAce '02, a free tennis game for IBM's Wimbledon website. -PR

There is a new poll on the PIC homepage which asks "How much money have you spent on PDA accessories in the past year (US$)?" -Ed

Thanks to Ronnie from the Klang Valley Palm User Group a Malay version of Kickoo's game TakTik is now available. -PR

I hope someone will eventually offer this service (for a consierable fee, of course)since I am not good with DIY modifications of hardware. I do have a Palm V/Vx PPK that is just gathering dust and would love to have it modified so I can use it with my Sony NR70.

i wish all palm-powered handhelds all used the universal connector...

it would definately boost Palm's accessories line...

Blame Palm Inc - its proprietary and they won't liscense it to anybody.

That doesn't mean Sony, Handspring, and the others couldn't get together and come up with their own standard "Universal Connector".
