Handheld mania 1999 the year in review

CNET put together a recap of the Handheld market in 1999. They point to 2000 as the year for PDA's and I have to agree. 1999 saw the introduction of some great devices and products: The Palm V, VII, the Visor and many others. 2000 promises to be an exciting year for Palm with the Palm IIIc coming, new devices from Sony and others, OS 3.5 and the IPO. The article also mentions the HandSpring is planning an IPO and how Palm strengthened it's position against Microsoft with an almost 90% market share.
