Mobiscope Webcam Monitor Released for Palm OS

Mobiscope Palm OSShape Services has released Mobiscope for Palm OS devices. Mobiscope is a video webcam application that allows users to watch realtime video streams from their home or remote computers. The Windows based software runs on your remote computer and can monitor up to 4 web / IP cameras simultaneously or other watch public webcams. The software also provides motion detection capabilities that can record clips and broadcast alerts on your phone and playback the captured clips. The only additional hardware required is a standard usb webcam connected to a computer or a network camera.

Mobiscope v2.6 is available now for Palm OS devices. A free trial period is included. It costs $29.95 and is currently on sale for $25 for a limited time.

Palm TX vs Iphone

Just saying that since Palm has no larger phone screen than 360x 360 the only alternative is using the TX (or Sony Th-55) to view the webcam. More and more people are putting their motion detecting cameras onto the Internet for remote viewing.

People trying to watch their homes while they are away can do so. However they might not have neighbors or friends to respond to an intrusion.

I suppose they can put a unlock or disable security on an other internet service. Waiting at home for a serviceman to arrive would no longer waste your day...
