New Version of ChatterEmail Released

According to a post on the TreoCentral forums, Marc Blanc of ChatterEmail fame has just released a minor update to the acclaimed Palm OS e-mail app ChatterMail. This new version merely adds official support for Palm's new Centro smartphone that the previous version 3.0.8 lacked. Marc's comments in this forum post reiterates the fact that major development of ChatterEmail has stopped. Yahoo IMAP formatting has also been fixed in 3.0.9. In the post, Marc also not-so-subtly hints that work is well underway on revamping ChatterEmail as a major part of Palm's future "Palm OS II" Linux-based OS plans.

The update can be downloaded from get.chatteremail.com within Blazer. The update is free to all registered users of the app. ChatterEmail can be purchased now for $29.95.
