This is an absolutely excellent book that I've read twice -- and will read a third time soon. It is part of what became a trilogy. If you've read "Atlas Shrugged" and gagged on it, this is the "anti-Atlas." (However, as the trilogy progresses, so does Kress's thinking on the matter... but I shall not spoil things. Read "Beggars" at least!) mc
Loved this book when it first came out, and I have the third edition in print. Glad to see this is now a free e-book from Qvadis. Reading the e-book is cool, seeing things again from the 1992 point of view, before the Web exploded. Wow!
