Comments on: BackupBuddy Software Releases Beta of WordSmith
BackupBuddy Software made several announcements today. First, the company has changed its name to Blue Nomad. Second, it has released a public beta of WordSmith, new word processor and doc reader.
WordSmith supports rich text, such as bold, italics and underline but also paragraph formatting, justification and font selection on the Palm. In addition, it has built-in support for the Stowaway keyboards and provides numerous pop-up menus, text selection options and Graffiti shortcuts.

Thanks! Please email your bug reports to beta@bluenomad.com... the problems could very well be due to the hacks or low memory... we are working on optimizing use of memory and that should help a bunch!

VERY COOL!!
So the downside? Real buggy so far. I haven't created any new documents yet, but I have tried to edit and convert old documents only to be bombarded with fatal exceptions and restarts galore. It could be due to the excessive amount of hacks on my system or just me being stupid - I haven't played with it enough to know which yet. But the concept and the application are there and that is the coolest part. Finally I can do italics, underlining, font size by *pixel*, and TONS more!! Finally a word processor worth using!
