The Zagat Survey material is available free as part of Vindigo. I wonder how many Palm guides Zagat sells.

According to the Zagat site the LandWare application is the only way for you to obtain the 2002 data.

Does anyone know what the deal is here? Vindigo have not made any mention of the 2002 data set.

Only a subset of the Zagat material is provided by Vindigo. The LandWare guide provides a more complete reference(ie 34 locations, top lists, Nightlife guides etc) for the zagat purist.

SD/MMC support is kind of a pain

I loaded 5 Zagat databases to my MMC card, but to access the database, you have to copy it to main memory. Once there, it doesn't remove itself when done... the copied version in main memory stays until deleted.

Also, there doesn't seem to be any way to copy a main memory database to the MMC card. If you've installed it to main memory, it stays there.

That said, I'm glad to finally offload some of these databases to an external card.
