Comments on: Yada Yada Closes Its Doors

Yada Yada, the wireless ISP, is stopping service today at 5 PM EST. All users should have been sent an email yesterday giving details on the shutdown. The company will still allow desktop-based email service until December 13 but that is all. All users have already been refunded for the month of December and everyone who paid for a six month subscription will receive a pro-rated refund.

This has been up all day and not a single post. Looks like not a single person could care less, which explains the companies situation...

I tried to sign up for their service when it started up but it wasn't available in my area. But neither is OmniSky. Helps explain why they are both in trouble.

BTW, OmniSky has been kicked off of Nasdaq.

Both were available in limited areas and for limited devices. Does anyone have an idea of how many potential subscribers that had Minstrel III modems that they turned away?
