Comments on: Streaming Video Player In Development

Media Metastasis has recently begun demonstrating early versions of ZyGoVideoH, which is an app capable of playing streaming video that is sent to it at 56 K. The company is demonstrating it on a Visor Prism, though it sees it being used with 3G wireless devices when it is eventually released. There is no word yet on when the final version will be available.

The prism had the best screen as for brightnes and screen refresh. I liked how video showed on my prism...

I am a convert from Palm to HS. My main issues (no flip cover, much bigger) were overcome by the ability to expand to compact flash--not the best solution for size, but runs faster. I can stream video very well off the card.

 Will Vid Streaming Be Expensive?

No doubt vid streaming is so call killer app for the 3G phones PDAs and such but as a consumer I'm not sure if I want to pay for all this airtime in order to see some Flash advertisements and such like what's on web these days if you get what I mean.

If you are talking about REAL content like MTV or CNN I'll rather see it on a big screen IMHO.

With vid streaming, it creates great opportunities for companies that "pushes" advertorial information to pda users when they are near the premises, to which they may have subscribe to.

Imagine, having movie infor or sales information being pushed to your pda or phone and if interested click it and see the trailers or products, before going to the nearby to do your purchase. Similar to location base idea.
