Handspring has announced the availability of the Treo 270 on the AT&T Wireless nationwide GSM/GPRS network, bringing greater carrier choice to Treo customers. New and current AT&T Wireless customers can purchase Treo 270 for a starting price of $399, or for as little as $249 when adding an GPRS data plan to a voice plan.

A little late? That's a great price, but the Treo 270 is A YEAR OLD.

great price ??? for a locked low res palm os smartphone ???

gee it's better to buy tg50+BT phone instead ..
i think even for $250 it's way overpriced ..
for $399 you cat get tungsten C directly from palm !!

It's $250 for a SOLID smartphone. That [i]is[/i] a good price, considering some decent smartphones are closer to $500.

So is this information. ATT started offering 270s weeks ago. Its been on HS site for 2 weeks now. If we are desparate for news we should be snooping on all the PPC buzz right now. Plenty of happenings on that side of the fence.

So does this mean that AT&T will be one of the last to adopt the new Treo 600? I sure hope not. :( I might have to switch carriers just to get the new Treo 600 before it is a year old and AT&T decides to carry it.
