Bachmann Software today launched the newest product Mobile Backup. Mobile Backup gives Palm OS handheld owners for the first time the choice of backing up their valuable handheld data to either their network or an available memory expansion card.

It doesn't have to specifically. Bachman's product uses Windows SMB/CIFS file networking. Macintosh supports Windows SMB/CIFS file networking (just turn it on in OS X). Therefore it would be better said that Macintosh supports Bachman's.
Each day brings one less reason to confine one's self to Windows.

I guess that is one of the problems with switching to Linux: being behind the curve on products like this.
