I'll be flying out of Hartsfield in a few weeks. I'm gonna have to check out the store.

RE: Who buys a Palm at the Airport?
You may as well ask, who buys all that stuff at duty-free shops? (Answer: heaps of people.)

The circumstances would have to be right ($) but if they were, and P1 was making anything I wanted sure, I'd do it.
(Wow me with the T5 P1, wow me.)
The real stone-breaker would be waiting for it to charge while you are on your trip!

The experienced traveller on the right plane has a power adaptor and outlet at their disposal, so one COULD charge it while flying, using the time to carefully read the stupid manual if one so desired.
It would be major fun to have a major new toy to distract one from the tedium of "the road" some time!

Successful Marketing
I have experienced the PalmOne store in EWR and PIT and find both to be the best retail outlets I have seen to date.
It puts the devices in the environment they were built to help someone function in.
It is the best possible location a retail outlet for this specific target marketed product could be in.
