 One Step from Replacing AvantGo
twizza @ 4/12/2005 4:31:11 PM #

This is one step from replacing AvantGo and other offline readers in my opinion. I know that it is only favs, and I know that I have a ton that I carry with me. But in the interest of knowing what's going on, saving just the page that is listed in the favs would be a nice implementation of this kind of program.

Benk's (RIP) "Netbook" did this as I recall (I had the software and it yeah--it did sync your favorates to an application on your palm).

URLSync + URLSync Desktop did this 6 years ago

I'm sure this app has a few new extra features, but URLSync has been a constant on all of my PDAs for years. Too bad it got pulled by the developer. It was the only good PDAToolbox app I've ever seen...

First one? I do not think so

We dissolved the company and donated all the code into open source.
www.sync2it.com is one of the people who picked it up.

Can you tap a link in that program on the Palm and have it launch on the Palm's browser (such as Blazer)?
