I've been looking into it, and as far as I can tell...you're absolutely right. There seems to be nothing that DataViz's new software does that does anything more than you get with VersaMail. In fact, Exchange ActiveSync is a Microsoft technology (though DataViz claims to have helped develop it...) I'm sending an email to DataViz to see if I can get an explaination.... RE: Not the first....
My problem with the way Versamail does it is that there does not appear to be away to only get e-mail. If you set up an exchange activesync account in Versamail it replaces the calendar on the Palm device with the calendar from the corporate server. I personally only want the mail and attachments. I believe that RoadSync syncs e-mail only. BTW, I don't believe that SnapperMail allows this type of e-mail account, SnapperMail supports IMAP and POP3 only. RE: Not the first....
I think the key is the ‘commercially available’ part. To the best of my knowledge you can't buy versamail with activesync capabilities (short of buying a 650). So if you look at it that way, it probably is the ‘first commercially available solution’.

Huh? Unless I am missing something, out of the box, Versamail on the Treo 650 does this same thing. How is RoadSync the first? And more importantly, how is it different/better than Versamail's ActiveSync capability?
