I had never played sudoku before, but this program seems well-designed. -- "I'm not a cool person in real life, but I play one on the Internet". Galley Free sudoku puzzles online
Free easy and expert sudoku puzzles online. Sudoku, a seemingly simple numbers game, has become the biggest puzzle craze to hit the world since Rubik's Cube.
There's a freeware variant as well: http://www.freewarepalm.com/games/suliteone.shtml Seems to support some features that the commercial one doesn't, such as letting you put several numbers in one square as you attempt to narrow things down. I say "seems" because I haven't actually tried either of these programs myself. RE: freeware variantgrahamnind @ 8/11/2005 9:24:24 AM #
Another freeware variant here http://www.scss.com.au/family/andrew/pdas/palm/myprogs/sudoku/ It's still a work-in-progress butI find it excellent. RE: freeware variant
i got addicted to this puzzle game while on a flight to the canary islands (just last week - vacation). when i get back, i see there are now 3-4 palm versions, and i believe before i went there were 4-5 pocket pc versions as well.
talk about overkill :) i downloaded the freeware version in the first post - and, since i've solved 100+ puzzles while on vacation, i can give 10 points to that version. it works great.
I've been playing this game for years.
The palm version I've been using is Logicix. http://www.palmgamingworld.com/strategy/logicix.shtml I don't think you understand the gravity of the situation. We're in space.
