yes, I read all your posts with anticipation :)

Of course WM is popular, its Microsoft; which has an amazingly powerful brand.
My wish was to see Palm OS continually developed so it remained a strong unique player in the market. Competition in the os field is important.
But Palm is going to screw itself long term with this WM move.
Problem now is they tasted the easy money fix and revenue stream of WM. The long term danger is they will become commodotized and just another plain WM reseller.

That's their choice as a company. I personally prefer to see Palm focus on a new improved Palm OS.

Show a man how to fish, feed him for a lifetime (Palm OS over Linux + N. America hardware designed + assembled).

Sorry, but I'd rather pay for a PalmOS Agendus version than getting it free for WM.
