    Comments on: 3Com/Palm Stock Plan Announced3Com has finally released the schedule for their plan to distribute Palm stock to people who own 3Com stock. 3Com shareholders of record on July 11 will receive about 1.5 shares of Palm stock for each share of 3Com held on July 27. 3Com shareholders will receive Palm stock valued at $48.38, based on Palm's closing price of $32.25 yesterday.

3Com stock was up about 10% yesterday on this news. Palm stock dropped a bit, probably as people sold their Palm stock to buy 3Com.
