RSA Security has released a SecurID Token client and libraries for Palm OS devices. This brings RSA's SecurID highly secure two-factor authentication to mobile devices. It is a free client download.

but yes, this was released some time ago, but we never covered it.

I would love this because I hate carrying around that friggin token - BUT my IT Dept. shot it down.

Is this any less secure than an actual token? Can the libraries be hacked in to via the Palm OS? Why would my IT Dept. be afraid?
