Comments on: Unlocked Treo 500 Due Soon

The Register is reporting today that Palm will soon offer a unlocked version of the Treo 500v in Europe. Vodafone's exclusivity period will expire at the end of the year and reportedly Palm will offer the Treo 500 unlocked on its website. The 500v is currently available for free with new contracts through Vodafone in certain counties and normally retails for £299 in the UK.

Palm Centro GSM unlocked coming out in March

I normally don't post comments but I was wondering when the new Centro will come out in a GSM Unlocked Version but I really couldn't find an exact answer online so when I was on the Phone for over 30 minutes with palm Tech support regarding problems with the new firmware update for AT&T and Cingular phones and when we were all done I asked him if he knew when the Centro would come out in a GSM version and he straight out told me March and I asked him if he was sure about that and he said he was 100% sure it will be out in March. Well I hope this helps out with anyone wanting to know when it is coming out.
