Natara Software has updated its Comet Treo application to version 2.2.1. Comet replaces your Treo smartphone's standard call history viewer with a more powerful alternative. It enables you to take down notes on calls, view call time totals for different time periods and contacts, lists all calls by contacts and also handles scheduled call reminders. Comet can also integrate with DayNotez to keep track of calls in a personal journal. It works as a stand alone app and there is also a stand alone Windows desktop client for syncing and viewing your call log info on a computer.

Comet is available for the Treo 600, 650, 680, or 700p smartphone. It comes with a free trial period and costs $12.95 to register.

Just testing it now, nice interface with clever sort options. Tried testing just the Palm app a few weeks ago and it showed "trial expired," but somehow installing the Desktop app allowed a "real" 30-day trial.

I have used CallLog+ for the past year or so, and Comet's desktop app and GUI are tempting... Hopefully THIS trial gives me a full 30 days...

Sounds like a great idea, but for $13...I don't think so.
