Sneak Preview of Ergo Audrey from 3Com
If you go to 3Com's site about their new information appliance, the Ergo Audrey, you don't learn much. It is just a simple 2-page, sign up sheet to be notified when the site is available. However, PalmStation has pointed out that while 3Com hasn't officially posted the info, their future site is accessible, at least temporarily. If you want to see it, take a look now before they close this loophole.
The Audrey has an 8 inch, color, touch screen, a keyboard, uses a combination of the Palm and QNX Linux OSs and can also sync directly to Palm-based handhelds. It offers e-mail that can be typed, hand scribbled, or voice recorded, a calendar that can be synced with your Palm, and access to something called Internet "Channels". It was originally planned to be available this month but its release was delayed until October.

You'll have to browse the directory so it isn't as easy to use but if you are curious, you can still get a look.
