Google Updates Its Mobile Search

Google has rolled out a new version of its mobile optimized search site. The new site includes a new simpler search interface, new result page layouts, mobile optimizing and other new features. The new site is also location aware, allowing you to get local results based on where you are.

It also features quick links to build a mobile customized homepage and access to Gmail mobile. The option to view pages though googles web optimizer is also present, but now there is an option to turn this service off.

You can reach the new site by typing in google.com on your phone or by going to google.com/m.
