The original Slim Leather Case

I had the original "Slim Leather Carrying Case", the one with a fatal design flaw (metal snap instead of Velcro closure). When it falls flat on its face onto a concrete surface, destruction occurs.
This picture shows the two pieces of the metal snap case.
Over there is the result of this design flaw for this leather case. The hard buttons worked, so I was able to make one final HotSync.
My friend had a Palm III with a fried CPU board. After transplanting his touchscreen to mine, I ripped off the metal snap pieces with a pocketknife and installed my own Velcro strips.
