Comments on: Wirelessly Convert MS Office Files to Quickoffice

Cutting Edge Software and Equinox Solutions are introducing a service that allows Microsoft Office documents to be converted to Quickoffice format and vice versa by e-mail. It is free for Quickoffice owners. The two companies are also rolling out services and software to allow companies to perform this service for themselves and even access files directly on the corporate network.

Fantastic!

I own Quickoffice and love it...but at home, I'm on a Mac, leaving me high and dry when it comes to converting Word to Doc. I just tried out the email address and tada! Something I thought I was going to have to type or give to a PC-using friend to convert was converted.

Two thumbs up on this idea.

Why??

Why can't they just write a programme for the Mac to perform the conversion?

Email service supporting attachments

It seems as though the article indicates that there are
programs which support email attachment on Palm OS devices.
Can you provide the names of any of them?
