Comments on: AcidSolitaire Review

Here at the Palm Inforcenter, we have generally ignored the subject of games, one of the most popular uses for the Palm. We do a bit to make up for this by bringing you a review of Red Mercury's AcidSolitaire, an addictive and inexpensive game.

It may not have all the pretty backgrouhd graphics, but the new version of Solitare Free (v 3.5.1) from www.smallware.com has elegance on a Palm Vx screen, no problem telling red from black, is free, and has two other games (Baker's, which I think is the same as FreeCell, and Demon) in a smaller (61 k) footprint. And it allows drag-and-drop in addition to tap moving.

If you had tried SolFree 3.0, and disliked it, try this upgrade-- they fixed a lot.

Just my opinion.

What’s fun about Solitaire? What about focusing on more exciting games - which have revolutionized Palm Gaming. There are dozens of Solitaire based games out there, and although these types of games might provide an all round good gaming experience, there must be games out there that are more innovative and worthy of a review than this one.

I don't know a game from a hole in the ground. ;-) Can you recommend a game that's revolutionized Palm Gaming?
