Comments on: Illuminate a Visor with pdaLight

pdaLight is a SpringBoard module and light arm that can be used when the Visor's backlight doesn't provide enough illumination. pdaLight uses a "super bright white" LED to illuminate the entire Visor screen, Grafitti area and function buttons in the darkest of conditions. According to its creator, power consumption is low with minimal battery drain. pdaLight will be available May 1 for $19.

Isn't this why the Visor has a neat little tool called the BACKLIGHT?

Its hard to copy something on a piece of paper next to the Visor with the backlight, though. I can also see using this for reading in bed for a few minutes on trips and that sort of thing. Maybe not for everyone but I think it is kind of cool.

The Visor's backlight is of little help under most low light conditions. This is a classic example of an inventor recognizing and filling a need. I want one.

This would be a good light source to illuminate the keyboard, on an airplane for example-
