It's nice to hear about a company that still cares. Let's hear it for Handspring. Now if they only followed this up with an announcement for the Visor Twist.....

OK, so now we're going to see homeless people walking around with Visor Deluxes with todo items such as: [ ]Look in trash can for food [ ]Annoy pedestrians [ ]Apply for food stamps And daily schedule: RE: Sigh!I.M. Anonymous @ 7/2/2001 10:39:44 AM #
While Handspring did start a small program to give Visors away, you did notice that the main point of this article was that they were giving *cash* to these non-profits, didn't you?

Hey, pretty funny but uninformed comments. - these Visors are probably going to the staff of these organizations and if trained, they would certainly benefit!
Nonprofits provide vital services. I wish they would consider our urban after school programs run by churches and other comm.unity groups. It's the kids who find the ise for the technology.

Hey IM Anonymous: Handspring is giving free Visors to the those who work for the charities, not the homeless! As one who has done volutreering for the homeless, your remarks were not funny.

Is this only for non-profit organisations? Or just for any company that helps people? A company could be helping people, get the visors for free and then sell them on ebay and donate the money! talk about fast cash!
