Bottom line:

If you have a need for quick access to portable info, and don't mind giving up your current watch, it is fantastic.
While not the prettiest of all watches, it is certainly the most functional.

Drawbacks:

The sync'ing s/w is cumbersome and somewhat buggy.
The data entry interface needs some fine tuning, as it is cumbersome as well.

Ruputer is the japanese name for this watch. Other than some of the system software, the watches are identical, and there is a much wider variety of software available on the Japanese site.

I am now trying to figure out which files to replace in order to display japanese text, but I will need to get the files from someone who has the Japanese watch I think.
