Comments on: InnoPocket Releases m100 Series Hardcase

InnoPocket has released the Metal Deluxe Case for Palm m1xx, an aluminium hardcase for the Palm m100 series but not the m130. It is made of annodized aluminium and has cut-outs to allow access to the infrared port and stylus slot. It is lined with Neoprene to provide some cushoning in case it gets dropped. It is available now for $30.

M1xx series cases

What of the card slot?
What of the UC?
If you don't make use of these (like to hotsync) it may be a good case. The materials look great, but I'd be removing my M125 from it every time I wanted to use it's accessories.

Hard to improve on the fact that the M1xx series kind of has it's own hardcase built into it.

The majority of the m1xx users don't get the accessories, and are happy to remove it from a case like that to sync it.

I think this'll sell well. I have a lot of customers bemoaning the lack of good m1xx cases.

I can get a hard case for a Palm m100, but I can't even buy a replacement flip-cover for my Sony S320, much less a third-party hard case. Dang! :(

T600 series innopocket...

why couldnt innopocket create a hard case for the T series that opens from the top like this one???? the fact that the case opens from the left is the only reason im staying away....

Opening from the top on the T600 case would have been difficult without obscuring the IR output, Memory Stick slot, and stylus holder. On the m100-series, you only have IR and stylus to worry about, and both of those are towards the side of the device.
