I assume there are no problems with the T1

I assume that this is an issue with the newer OS on the TT2 and 71, and not relevant to older palms like the TT1.

T2 Fix for Slowdown when Autolock & Lock options enabled ?
MFB @ 8/26/2003 9:16:38 PM #

What does the patch actually fix? With autolock & the other lock options enabled, it slows down the shortcut (br, me,ts) feature as these do not complete as fast as before. It also slows down Text Plus & Word complete. I did a hard reset on my T2 & tested again. With auto lock & the others Disabled, everything is normal. Having one of the two or both enabled, it slows down the system. Does the patch fix these?
