v 1.12 does not give satisfaction
I have updated my Treo 600 with the new 1/12 version from Orange Switzerland.
Though a slight improvement seems to be available, there are 2 main problems still pending:
- Roaming: this is the most serious one. Symptom: you are connected to Orange CH, move to a zone covered by Orange F. No problem. Come back to the zone covered by Orange CH, then you are in trouble. The Treo shows the message NO OPERATOR AVAILABLE. Only thing to do: switch off and on again, or soft reset !
- The manual choosing mode for networks is no longer available in this version !

When you live in a border one, this is very unpleasant.
Treo 600 is a fantastic tool, but one can expect that at least it behaves as a low price telephone !

Hmmm...
Orange customer service by telephone was very poor but "real" people in the shop were very helpful.
