Comments on: Possible Sprint EOL Roadmap Leaked

Sprint LogoThe Boy Genius Report has gotten their hands on a lengthy list of Sprint device introductions and EOL dates that is certainly chock-full of Palm-related information.

To kick things off, the "unofficially official" CDMA version of the Palm Treo Pro now has a solid release date of February 15th, despite being currently available in some Best Buy retail stores already. With the arrival of the CDMA version of the Treo Pro, the worst-kept secret in recent Palm and Sprint history (see our December report) appears to be nearing its conclusion. The Treo 800w, having been released only in July 2008, is slated to be EOL'd this April, easily on pace to be the shortest-lived Palm device to date.

Good riddance! Visually speaking, the Treo Pro makes it look like a stone knife.

Shame about the Centro. It's an awesome device for the price. (Maybe that's why Palm are going to stop making it...)
